How the three numbers are found
- Birth number
- The day of the month you were born, reduced to one digit. Born on the 28th: 2 + 8 = 10, and 1 + 0 = 1.
- Destiny number
- Every digit of your full date of birth added together, then reduced. 12 May 1990 gives 1 + 2 + 0 + 5 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 0 = 27, and 2 + 7 = 9.
- Name number
- Each letter of the name you commonly use is given its Chaldean value (1 to 8). The total is your compound number, which is then reduced to a single digit.
